Olivia Barker gets a second chance at Nationals and makes the best of it. Olivia was the 1st alternate and was scratched in to the finals the night of the 200 Butterfly and turns a 2:15.06 preliminary time into a 2:11.65 to earn a spot on the USA National Junior Team that will be heading to Lima, Peru on August 12th. Olivia makes this the 4th year in a row that the Sandpipers have placed swimmers on the USA National Junior Team Roster. Hannon Daigler makes the best of Nationals and Qualifies for USA Olympic Team Trials for Omaha, Nebraska in 2012 in the 400 IM with a new team record time of 4:28.22. Hannon makes it 3 swimmers now for the Sandpipers attending the Olympic Trials in 2012 (Miller, Barker and Daigler).
Also new team record was set by Olivia Barker in a time trial 100 freestyle with time of 59.17 and Hannon Daigler time trialed a new personal best time in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:25.22.
