Group Information

Senior 1, Senior 2, and Senior 3

Ages: (High School)

Prerequisites: Must be able to complete all requirements of stroke school, advance from senior development or age groups.

The focus of this group is to refine and continue to develop the swimmer’s skills. Conditioning, endurance training, and racing is the focus for Senior level swimming.  Swimmers generally compete in local "BRW" level swim meets and travel out of the state. Swimmers  are encouraged to attend all scheduled sessions offered each week. Skills are still being developed to advance to the next level. The next level advancement would be National 1, National 2, or National 3 Groups.

Fundraising

Senior 1 and Senior 2 groups will be responsible to participate in one major fundraising activity per quarter of the team year. Fundraising activities are used to meet the team's budgetary needs to support team operations. Quarters 1, 2, and 3 will consist of smaller fundraisers with the equivalent of $30 fundraising/donation required each quarter. Quarter 4 will consist of our largest fundraiser the Swim-A-Thon, sponsored by USA Swimming. $200 per swimmer is the minimum required for the Swim-A-Thon event. Total minimum fundraising requirement for the year is $290.

Senior 3 group will be responsible to participate in one major fundraising activity per quarter of the team year. Fundraising activities are used to meet the team's budgetary needs to support team operations. Quarters 1, 2, and 3 will consist of smaller fundraisers with the equivalent of $30 fundraising/donation required each quarter. Quarter 4 will consist of our largest fundraiser the Swim-A-Thon, sponsored by USA Swimming. $175 per swimmer is the minimum required for the Swim-A-Thon event. Total minimum fundraising requirement for the year is $265.
