The Sandpipers of Nevada Class of 2018 had its first verbal commitment to swim collegiately in the Fall of 2018. The National Group's Erica Sullivan verbally committed to swim at the University of Southern California. Erica is the first Sandpiper to attend USC and compete. For the second time in 2017, the Sandpipers of Nevada were featured in Swimming World Magazine! In each issue, the magazine has a "Q&A" article with coaches that are making waves in competitive swimming. Sandpipers Competing in Three Competitions This Weekend The Sandpipers of Nevada will be busy this weekend with three different meets taking place in 3 different cities! First, over 20 Sandpipers will be representing their respective high school teams in Carson City, at the NIAA State High School Swimming & Diving Championships. Next, there are 7 teammates racing in USA Swimming's Open Water Nationals, being held in Castaic Lake, California. Finally, 118 Sandpipers are participating in the first Rock the Block s of the summer season at Desert Breeze Aquatics Facility....
