Three Sandpipers sign with three Division I schools today. Olivia Barker and Adam Henley will be heading to the BIG TEN conference in the fall of 2013 and Lindsey Engelstead will be closer to home in the Mountain West Conference. Olivia will be attending Indiana University, Adam will be attending Michigan State University, and Lindsey will be heading to the University of New Mexico.

The Sandpiper Pumpkin Invitational saw quite a few longstanding records fall. Women 15-16 1000 Free Erin Emery swims to a 10:27.83 and a new Women’s 15-16 1000 Free record at the Desert Storm Invitational (9/21/12) replacing a swim 2 years prior by Olivia Barker who finished with a 10:31.36 at the Central JO meet 2010 (2/12/10) Women 17-18 100 Back Olivia Barker takes down an 8-year old record in the Women’s 17-18 100 Back at the Desert Storm Invitational (9/21/12) with a 1:00.10 swim. Diversity Camp at OTC Friday, May 04, 2012 Five Southern California Swimming athletes plus their personal coaches are attending the National Diversity Select Camp this weekend (May 3-6) at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
