Richard Selznick from Las Vegas, Nevada and Talia Bornstein from Scottsdale, Arizona have both announced via their respective Twitter accounts that they have made verbal commitments to Brandeis University for the fall of 2017. Las Vegas, Nevada’s Emelia Piccininni has committed to swim next fall at California Polytechnic State University, otherwise known as Cal Poly. Piccininni attends Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas and is a standout student in the International Baccalaureate program. Swimming for Palo Verde at the 2016 Nevada State High School Championships, Piccininni placed 7th in the 50 free, and 3rd in the 100 free individually, and was a member of the 200 free relay that broke the Nevada state record. REESE LAMPH FROM SANDPIPERS OF NEVADA GIVES VERBAL TO HOUSTON Reese Lamph, a distance freestyler from Las Vegas, Nevada, has made a verbal commitment to the University of Houston for the 2017-18 season. Lamph is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American from Palo Verde High School. She earned a pair of fourth-place finishes in the 200 free and 500 free at last spring’s Nevada High School Division I Championships. Lamph swims year-round for Sandpipers of Nevada.
