Sandpipers Dominate the TRI-Event! Three Sandpipers Three 1st place division wins! Swim-Bike-Run, well our kids do it all now but two years ago we trained in the pool and ran around the park, so why not bike? Swimmers are some of the best tri-athletes later in life. The USA Swimming Club Excellence Program is a program that recognizes USA Swimming clubs for their commitment to excellence in performance. In addition to recognizing the top club teams, the program provides grant funding for resources that enable clubs to expand and/or enhance the services they already provide to athletes. A total of $320,000 in grant dollars will be distributed to 100 Gold and Silver-level clubs. Final grant awards will be announced by June 11. Miller Takes High Point at Sectionals Barker, Boland, Guerrero, Englestead, Miller, Ward, and Chin all break individual team records at Long Beach Sectionals. The team finishes in 7th in Division 2nd at the meet and had it first High Point champion in the history of the meet. Pacific Coast All Star Team Named Wednesday, December 30, 2009 Selection of the Southern California Swimming's 2010 Pacific Coast All Star Team is now complete.
